Retail Technology Adoption Assistance Scheme (ReTAAS)
ReTAAS Application
To further support the local retail industry, there are enhancement measures under the ReTAAS Assistance Scheme and started to receive applications from 1 April 2020 onwards. Enhancement measures include an option to select initial payment up to 50% of the total approved government funding (maximum up to HK$25,000). In addition, the Government will provide full funding support for the audit fee of approved project, capped at HK$2,000 per audit.
Eligibility
All non-listed enterprises registered in Hong Kong under the Business Registration Ordinance (Chapter 310) with substantive retail business operations in Hong Kong are eligible to apply, irrespective of their number of outlets.
Scope of Funding
Projects must be related to the management of manpower demand of the applicant.
A list of typical technologies are as follows:
- POS System (Point-of-sales System)
- e-shop
- Electronic Payment System
- Inventory System
- Security and Surveillance System (e.g. CCTV)
